As soon as I got them I didn't want to take them off, even in the house. Normally I dislike high heel or any heels, but these were as comfortable as flats. Best I have ever had and very warm.

I bought these in Sand, size 10. I'm normally a 9 1/2, but typically order up and get size 10 in boots anyway. These do run about 1/2 size small, as others mention, and with the thick fur lining, they have a snug fit. I have standard to narrow feet, and these fit perfect. I stumbled across these boots when researching another Bearpaw style. They were too cute to pass up and were on sale (~60% off), so I took a chance. They are actually even cuter in person. The materials are really top notch. And they fit me beautifully. I have very thin calves (13") and normally swim in knee-high boots. Thanks to the liner, these fit nice (but should smoosh down a bit for larger calves). With the thick fur lining, they are snug around the foot when I tried them on with socks, but I'd expect the liner to compress with time and give more wiggle room. In the meantime, they're so warm, I'm just thinking no socks. The sole has great traction and good support. I wear a lot of heals, but normally pay for it at the end of the day. I felt like I could have worn these all day and not had any issues. I really didn't want to take them off when I tried them on. Alas, it was July in Ohio. :-) I'm really looking forward to using them this fall/winter. In the end, I bought both Bearpaw styles. I'm thrilled with the value they offer... Style + Comfort + Quality Materials... and all for a reasonable price.

I bought this boot at a drastic reduction ( 60% off the original price) and was it ever worth it! If you're looking for a good boot for heavy winter weather, this is the one. These boots are lined with sheepskin and wool, and made with real suede and rabbit, and they will keep you warm and toasty through the coldest weather. I usually don't wear high heels, but the wedge heel is so sturdy I don't even notice that it's 2 3/4 in. high. They are super comfortable, and the fit is nice and snug. These boots will NOT flop around your calves, believe me. On sale or not, these are a great deal!
