I live in an area that usually doesn't get much snow....until this year. I ordered these in the middle of a few storms and they were perfect. Warm comfortable and cute. I ordered a half size larger than my normal size and I couldn't have used them any larger or smaller.

After my Columbia Bug-A-Zip boots started leaking water at the seam above my little toes, I was looking for a comparable boot with a zipper. The new model Columbia zip boots were a little pricey, plus they were not true-to-size -- they ran much smaller than the same size in my older ones. Why would they do that? Even though the thinsulate in these boots was only half of the Columbia pricey boots, the price was better, so I decided to take a chance. I was a little nervous about them because of the reviews on the zippers. Also, I went UP another half size so I wouldn't have to be returning them (at my cost). The right zipper came down twice, and I was most apprehensive about the zippers, since I had been forewarned. But after the zipper came down twice, I have had no further problem with either zippers. I am pleased with these boots, and have given them 5 stars because they are working for me.

I like these boots because they are very warm and comfortable and the zipper is very convenient. I have not had any problems with the zipper falling down, and the top of the boot fits my leg fine. However, they are definitely more practical than stylish, and I had to return the 9M, my usual size, for a 9.5M. I would also agree that these boots "eat" my socks as I walk!

I'd give these boots a full five star rating; however the left boot is tight at the very top. this is most likely a mistake by a factory worker. Still, these are wonderful boots, warm and toasty.
