Fits well, but... May 28, 2010

I was debating between these in black synthetic and Aldo's Monda wedges for a while, and decided to go for the cheaper one because I had no idea how the fit was going to be. If it was off a bit, I'd just keep them because they were only $41. I got a 37...I'm usually a 6 or 6.5 (and at Cathy Jean can fit 5.5), so I was really unsure of what size to get. Fortunately, 37 fit perfectly with socks. They're really comfortable and stylish, and definitely shoes I can wear all day. It adds about .5 inch in height (I like a bit more of a heel unfortunately), and when the boot is folded up to be a knee high, it goes a bit past my knee (no surprise, as I'm just 5'0"). When the fold is down though, I feel kind of like a pirate. It also leaves a huge space for the calf, which I don't like. If it was tighter around the calf area it'd look great. Because of this extra space, I think it'd look bad with a dress. But overall, worth the cheap price tag.
